These last couple of days I found myself thinking what I’d like to learn this year. What are my baking goals?
I wanted to say “I want to make pretty macarons” but a voice deep down inside me whispered ”forget about those fancy treats, learn how to make sourdough bread”
I took a pen and paper and started writing down what types of bread I’d like to try this year. (some are not bread per-se but bare with me) and since we’re talking bread I though it would be nice if I make a round up of some of the bread recipes I’ve already shared and I get lots of requests for.
Without too much ado I give you 20 bread recipes and 20 more on my bucket list. (recipes are absolutely in no specific order)

Cottage cheese whole wheat dinner rolls
Pull apart nutella filled pumpkin bread

Chocolate rolls with coffee icing

As soon as I’m done here, I’m heading up to the pull-apart herb cheese bread and hamburger buns. Especially because I GOT MY KING ARTHUR FLOUR KIT!!! I’m so, so excited to see if the stuff’s as good as everyone says. I figure if I can make good bread with it, it’s magical.
I can’t wait to see your posts on baguettes and sandwich bread.
Roxanna, I don’t know which recipe I would start with! The chocolate/coffee cinnamon rolls sound fantastic. WOW. and homemade croissants are on my list this year. I also want to make homemade bagels as well.
i LOVE this list! pinning so many ideas!
Roxana, I can almost smell the bread baking now. So many choices and for me winter is the best time to bake bread!
Your breads are beautiful! Yeast and I have a difficult relationship. For a long time I was definately intimidated. Now with practice, I am beginning to win the power struggle. My success list is much shorter than yours. Your Pull Apart recipe will be next. Thanks!
Oh thank you! My fav thing to do in the kitchen !
I’m drooling over all 20, I don’t think I can choose a favorite! I just need to sample one of each
.
I love your bucket list, can’t wait to see you accomplish them, because I know you will!
Yayyyy it’s a bread baking year!
What a wonderful, challenging, and exciting group of recipes. Thank you.
Hi Roxana, I just want to thank you for those wonderful recipes you are sharing with us. Yesterday, I made the chocolate bread, it tasted awesome, I will post the picture on facebook so you can see it. I am grateful to you for all the effort you do to creat the most delicious bread in the world.
I think you need a container larger than a bucket for all of these. They all look amazing and I want a bite of each one.
You are such a talented baker, Roxana. There is no bread recipe you cannot tackle! I believe you will achieve all your baking goals this year. Can’t wait to see what amazing stuff you come up with…
You have such an enviable bread repertoire–I can’t imagine you not being able to cross everything off your list. I’ve done a couple of them but there are several that are on my to-do, too (and I haven’t done most on your already-accomplished list). Looking forward to your next roundup including all of these waiting for the Roxana touch. You’ve captured all your breads so beautifully on camera.
Roxana, you have an impressive repertoire
Your list of breads to make sounds wonderful-looking forward to seeing your results!
Sourdough bread is on my list to make this year…. I’ve made homemade soft pretzels that are to die for:) also gonna make a bread from my father in law that takes 18 hours to proof before you bake it. My FIL loved to bake bread.
What a great recap! You are one of the best bread makers out there. Have you thought about opening a bakery? You would do amazing. Need to make that steakhouse bread!
You have nothing to hesitate for baking macarons after seeing everything you baked so far. This year I want to make bread and I’m excited about your new series!!!
All excellent choices! Especially the croissants
Those look fantastic! Can’t wait to start baking. Thanks for sharing
Wow sweetie…that is some list! Looking forward to seeing those on your bucket list as well
Sigh, so many absolutely beautiful loaves, rolls, and pastries! On my bread bucket list are bagels, pretzels, and hot dog buns, just for starters.
Great list! I love the hamburger buns & steak house bread. Can’t wait to see your take on ciabatta. My attempt didn’t end well. Thank you for the wonderful recipes.
Since we’re talking about bread, shouldn’t it be your “Basket List?” *insert rolling eyes here* I’m sorry; I couldn’t help myself.
They all look delish – super job on the photos! I think I’m going to have to start with the Cottage Cheese Rolls.
Thanks so much!
they look so yummilicious
I am going to start with your cottage cheese dinner rolls.
The steakhouse bred looks so tasty! Home made bread is absolutely the best there is. But normally it takes a lot of time to prepare. That’s a shame.
What beautiful photographs! Can’t wait to read your posts!!!
Make the English Muffins, they will change your life. I would like a piece of each of these please! I have a long bucket baking list too, wish I had more time.
