I have a gazillion of spatulas and whisks in my kitchen (we’ll talk about them in another Behind the Apron post). Every time I bake something I use at least 2-3 and since I don’t clean as I go, I need a lo of them. By the time I’m done baking my sink is full of spatulas, whisks, measuring cups and mixing bowls.
I love the spoon spatula. Perfect for cleaning the sides of the bowl when creaming butter and sugar for cookies or when folding chocolate chips in the cookie dough.
The balloon whisk is perfect for mixing the ganache, whipping up eggs for omelets, mixing yeast with water and flour to make a bread starter and even making meringue.
The oven thermometer is one of the must-have gadgets every home-baker should own. Using one you know for sure how hot is your oven, which is a very important thing when baking, otherwise your goodies might not rise the way it should be.
The mixing bowl and tarte dishes are the perfect one-serving dish. They come in a variety of colors. You probably know I love colorful dishes.

I love my silpat!
My must-have kitchen gadget has got to be kitchen shears. More than just scissors, for sure. I use my shears for everything, like cutting hot pizza into slices, opening those horrible plastic-bubble-sealed items, snipping chives, etc., etc., etc.

Aside of my stand mixer, it would have to be my rubber spatula.
I have so many! Love my stand mixer but can’t use it without several spatulas either! So I say both!

I probably use my whisk and rubber spatulas more than anything! Isn’t that funny? The little things
A good spatula, You can never have too many and I always use them instead of spoons for folding ingredients in and of course scrapping bowls.

My favorite gadget of the moment is my mini whisk. I use it for everything. It emulsifies dressings so much better than regular sized whisks. And I love it for sauces too.
